I help kids, teens and young adults find their authentic path without sacrificing who they truly are or what matters most to them.

Whether you're an adult reading this yourself, or a parent seeking support for your child or teen, you've come to the right place.

When clients first come to me, they're often:

  • Exhausted from trying to maintain a "perfect" image

  • Struggling to balance expectations from family, school, and friends

  • Feeling disconnected from themselves or uncertain about the future

  • Wondering if something is wrong with them

On the outside, everything might look fine. They have friends, participate in activities, and hear things like "You're amazing!" or "You're the one I always count on." But inside? They feel like they're barely holding it together.

Some days, anxiety or depression makes it hard to go to school, connect with friends, or enjoy activities they once loved. They may be pulling away from things that used to bring them joy — or struggling in ways that are hard to put into words.

Adding to this, many young people face additional pressures and threats to their wellbeing simply for being who they are.

These feelings create real obstacles. Confidence drops. It becomes harder to be the person they want to be — and easier to worry they're letting everyone down, including themselves.

Before therapy, many young people (and their families) worried that these overwhelming feelings would never lift — that dreams were slipping out of reach.

Every young person deserves to feel hopeful, confident, and connected to who they are.

A future where they feel in control and optimistic is absolutely possible. Whether you're reaching out for yourself or for your child or teen, I'm here to help explore what makes them feel truly connected, happy, and fulfilled.

My Approach

I believe that our emotional truths live not only in the mind, but also in the body. As a creative arts therapist, I often work in a way that increases self-awareness and understanding, and explores how your story (as you see it) and the roles you play in your life impact your sense of self. I use a variety of both verbal and embodied activities and techniques in my work depending on what works best for you.

Clients often describe me as grounded, calm and direct. I have a deep capacity for listening, holding feelings, and sitting in complexity without moving into action immediately. I am both warm and serious; thoughtful and playful. Overall, I take a systems approach, and believe it is essential to look at the context surrounding a person and what they are working on. I take an active role with my clients and like to work collaboratively.
